How to Place an Order

Placing an order on MyElectric.in is simple, fast, and completely secure. Follow the steps below to buy electrical goods for your home, business, or project.

🔹 Step 1: Browse Products

You can explore products in two ways:

  • Use the top menu categories (Wires, Switchgear, Lighting, Industrial Items, Accessories, etc.)
  • Use the search bar to quickly find a specific item or brand

Each product page provides:

  • Detailed specifications
  • Pricing
  • Warranty information
  • Brand details
  • Delivery timeline

🔹 Step 2: Select Your Product

When you find the item you need:

  1. Choose the quantity
  2. Select variants (if applicable — colors, sizes, amperes, watts, etc.)
  3. Click “Add to Cart”

You can continue shopping or proceed to checkout.

🔹 Step 3: Review Your Cart

Click the Cart icon at the top of the page to:

  • Check your selected items
  • Update quantities
  • Remove items
  • Apply coupon codes (if available)

When you’re ready, click “Proceed to Checkout”.

🔹 Step 4: Enter Shipping Details

Fill in your:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email
  • Delivery address

For business orders, you can enter:

  • Company name
  • Billing address
  • GSTIN (to receive a GST-compliant invoice)

🔹 Step 5: Choose a Payment Method

MyElectric.in supports multiple secure payment options:

  • UPI
  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • Net Banking
  • Wallets
  • Bank Transfer / NEFT / RTGS
  • Cash on Delivery (available on select orders)

Choose the method that suits you and complete the payment.

🔹 Step 6: Order Confirmation

Once your order is placed:

  • You will receive a confirmation SMS and email
  • Your order will appear in the My Orders section of your account
  • You can track shipping updates once the package is dispatched

🔹 Step 7: Track Your Order

Go to:
My Account → My Orders → Track Order

You will see:

  • Live shipment status
  • Expected delivery date
  • Courier details

Tracking details are also sent via email/SMS.
