The Schneider Acti 9K RCCB (Residual Current Circuit Breaker) provides earth leakage protection for electrical installations. It instantly disconnects supply when leakage current to earth exceeds the set sensitivity (30mA, 100mA, or 300mA), protecting people from electric shock and installations from fire. Available in 2-pole (single-phase) and 4-pole (3-phase) versions. Zero import duty to Sri Lanka under ISFTA.

RCCB Sensitivity Selection Guide

• 30mA (High Sensitivity): Mandatory for socket outlets and circuits supplying people. Protects against lethal electric shock — 30mA is the threshold below which cardiac fibrillation is unlikely.
• 100mA (Medium Sensitivity): For feeder circuits where nuisance tripping from leakage is a concern (long cables, variable frequency drives, fluorescent lighting). Provides fire protection.
• 300mA (Low Sensitivity): For main incomer/feeder protection. Provides fire protection and backup to downstream 30mA/100mA devices.

2-Pole RCCB (Single-Phase + Neutral) — 25A to 63A

For single-phase circuits. Disconnects both Line and Neutral on earth fault. Ratings: 25A, 40A, 63A.

4-Pole RCCB (3-Phase + Neutral) — 25A to 63A
