The Schneider Altivar Process ATV930 is a premium variable frequency drive for process industries — water treatment, oil and gas, mining, and chemical plants. ATV930 Key Features for Process Applications
STO (Safe Torque Off): SIL3/PLe rated — meets the highest machine safety requirements without external safety relay for basic STO function.
Integrated bypass (C suffix): Built-in manual bypass contactor — motor continues running at full speed on mains if VFD fails (critical for pumps, fans).
Motor monitoring: Current, voltage, torque, speed, energy, operating hours — logged for predictive maintenance.
Thermal protection: PTC thermistor and PT100/PT1000 RTD inputs directly to the drive — no external relay needed.
