How to Select a ComPact NSX

  • Match frame to load current — choose the frame size whose maximum matches or exceeds your load current.
  • Breaking capacity — check the available short-circuit current at the installation point. NSX-N (25kA) for standard, NSX-H (70kA) for high fault-level panels.
  • 3P vs 4P — use 4P when neutral needs to be switched/isolated (IT earthing systems or when the neutral has reduced cross-section).
  • Adjustable overload — set the Ir (overload) setting to 80–100% of cable ampacity; set Im (short-circuit) to 5–10× Ir for motors.
