Schneider TeSys LC1D Contactor Price in Sri Lanka — All Models & Coil Voltages
Schneider Electric TeSys LC1D & LC1F Contactor Price in Sri Lanka — All Coil Voltages
The Schneider TeSys LC1D series is one of the world’s most widely used AC contactors, suitable for motor starting, reversing, and capacitor switching. Available from 9A to 95A (LC1D) and 115A+ (LC1F). Available on myelectric.in with zero import duty under ISFTA.
What is a Contactor?
A contactor is an electrically controlled switch used for switching motors, heaters, and other high-current loads. Key selection parameters:
- Current Rating (A) / AC-3 Duty: Rating under motor starting conditions — always select the AC-3 rating, not AC-1.
- Motor HP / kW: Each LC1D frame size is rated for a specific motor power at 415V 3-phase.
- Coil Voltage: The control voltage that energises the contactor — 24V, 110V, 220V, 240V, 400V AC or 24V DC.
- Poles: 3P for three-phase motor loads; 4P for switching single-phase or for special applications.

LC1D Coil Voltage Reference
| SKU Suffix | Coil Voltage | Typical Use |
|---|---|---|
| B7 | 24V AC | Safety PLCs, low-voltage control circuits |
| F7 | 110V AC | Industrial control panels (110V systems) |
| M7 | 220V AC | Standard Indian industrial panels |
| P7 / N7 | 230–240V AC | Single-phase control supply |
| V7 / Q7 | 380–400V AC | When control supply is taken from line voltage |
| BL | 24V DC | PLC output modules, 24V DC panels |
How to Select the Right LC1D
- Find motor HP → match to the LC1D current rating table above
- Check control voltage → select the correct coil suffix (M7 for 220V AC is the most common in India/Sri Lanka)
- For reversing duty, you need two contactors + interlocking — use LC1D + LA1DN22 auxiliary contacts
- For star-delta starting, use 3× LC1D contactors (main, star, delta) + a timer relay
